⚫ Diabetes: 20 people with type 1 and 30 people with type 2
⚫ The water was administered against the background of a basic diet and hypoglycemic therapy

30 patients with type 2 diabetes took part in the study
⚫ 66% of women and 34% of men
⚫ Average age of the patients — 54
⚫ Average duration of the disease — 8.5 years
⚫ Obesity was diagnosed in all patients (abdominal diagnosed in 63%, gynoid in 37%)
⚫ Hypertension was diagnosed in all examined patients
⚫ Disorders of lipid metabolism were detected in 76% of patients
⚫ Anthropometric indicators: average growth of 166.4 cm, average weight of 94.5 kg, BMI = 35.9

Study design
⚫ Group I (study group) — 20 people — received basic hypoglycemic therapy and light water Dia Water
⚫ Group II — 10 people — control group — received basic hypoglycemic therapy and placebo water
⚫ Water was administered for 4 weeks. Water was administered at a daily dose of 1 liter; first ingestion on an empty stomach in the morning, and then during the day 30 - 40 minutes before meals. Hypoglycemic drug therapy was not corrected during the study period.

After a 4-week course of light water ingestion, glycemic curve indicators in patients with type II diabetes mellitus were observed 2 hours after a glucose load and proved to be similar to those of a healthy person.

Study design:
⚫ Metabolic syndrome (hypertension, obesity, hyperinsulinemia, dyslipidemia) — 40 subjects
⚫ The water was administered against the background of a basic diet and hypoglycemic therapy

Tolerance
⚫ All patients reported that they felt good and were healthy when they drank the water
⚫ No symptoms of dyspepsia observed
⚫ No signs of intolerance or adverse reactions observed
⚫ The women reported an improvement in colour and condition of facial skin

Dynamics of lipid metabolism indicators before and after ingestion of Dia Water water in patients with metabolic syndrome (I)

Conclusions
⚫ Basic anthropometric measurements reduced: weight, BMI, number of adipose tissue
⚫ Lower blood pressure
⚫ All indicators of glycemic curve and diurnal glucosuria reduced
⚫ Atherogenic lipid profile fraction reduced: triglycerides, LDL, atherogenic index
⚫ Rheological characteristics positively changed: increased tolerance of plasma to heparin, normalization of fibrinogen, platelet aggregation and haematocrit, increased deformability of red blood cells
⚫ Health of patients improved

⚫ Reduces the amount of fat mass by more than 5% of the original mass
⚫ Activates the metabolism, which is usually reduced when a hypocaloric diet is followed
⚫ Reduces elevated basal and stimulated insulin levels
